Thosuands of Ways to Say I Love You

Kagome looked carefully at the fortress that Sesshomaru had brought her to.  It was beautiful resembling a cross between a medieval chateau and a shiro.  The shiro had three stories and was full of vigor!  There was a gorgeous garden leading up to it made up of thousands upon thousands of beautiful roses.  Casually she turned to Sesshomaru and asked about them.

“My grandfather had all these planted for my grandmother.  They both have long since passed but the idea remains the same.  He had over 99 different varieties of roses planted and of those he had at least 100 of each variety.  Altogether, there are over ten thousand flowers here and they were meant to highlight the amount of love he had for her.”  Kagome thought the idea was wonderful and teasingly asked Sesshomaru how many he was going to plant for her.

“As many as you want Kagome.  As many as you want.”  He led her inside the shiro and smiled.

“Now come, let us show my new wife her home.”

A/N: Prompt: ninety-nine roses.  I apologize for the length of this- if any of you understand college basketball rivalries- then you will understand why as a UNC Fan/ current student I have to watch the UNC-Duke game today!
