Sesshomaru had been tracking the demon horse herd for a while, observing the animals looking for the best ones. He’d finally settled on three black stallions, strong and proud. Today was the day he tamed them.

Sesshomaru had rubbed cumin into his skin to mask the predatory scent of a dog demon. Also cumin seed was especially attractive to demonic horses. Yes, he could overpower and break their wills but there was no challenge in that. He’d much rather they follow him willingly.

He stood still as one of the stallions cautiously approached. The things he did for his mate.
