Kagome plucked the ripe pod from the plant and set it aside while she admired the beautiful vanilla orchid. Hidden behind her mate’s icy exterior was a warm heart; the vanilla orchids that grew wild in the garden were descends of a birthday gift from him. A fond smile crossed her face as she recalled that day from centuries ago.

“You enjoy the scent but only use your vanilla ‘products’ on a rare occasion since the well closed,” Sesshomaru handed her the plants, “this Sesshomaru hopes you will be able to use make use of these to scent your soaps.”
