Ch. 11 Playful Tease

“Kagome.“ Nudging her arm he waited for an answer. Raising a brow at her as she groaned. Grabbing his hand in complete obliviousness and letting it fall back to his thigh. Trying to further hid her face between his shoulder. Which didn’t work. Ending with her landing left cheek, face first on his lap, and he had to move his laptop. It was all rather amusing. Though not many people would have been so tolerant. Turning her around so she would be more comfortable he thought of something. Poking her in the side caused her to squirm. “Wake up onna.“ He gave her an evil grin. Poking her again. Since she didn’t wake he went all out. Tickling her sides.

Her laughter filled the room briefly as she realized her position. Quickly scooting backwards in embarrassment. “I am soo… sorry.“

“No harm done.” He stood and stretched his arms. “What would you like for dinner? Some ribs with an all purpose barbecue rub?”

“Sounds good. It doesn’t have that spicy paprika does is it? I‘m not really into spicy when it comes to ribs.” She rubbed her forehead. Trying to figure out what happed before she fell asleep.

“It’s the sweet paprika.”

“Thank god!”
