Chapter 93: Fantaisie-Impromptu

“Isn’t there a-anything they can do? T-treatments?”

Kagome frowned. “Well, I can tell you one thing: It’s not like a Korean drama where I can have somebody give me their eyes. Full transplants are impossible with today’s technology. You can’t reverse what I have. But…”

“What?” Sango hedged. “What?”

The younger woman broke out of her thoughts, shaking her head. “It doesn’t matter. It’s not like I could afford it anyway.”

“What about your mom, or Miroku?”

“Mama doesn’t know. And she’s not going to. I won’t involve my cousin either. He’ll worry himself to death.”
