Chapter 88: Fess Up!

Kagome plucked at the collar of her red blouse as Sango stared her down. “What?” she muttered. “Is there something on my face?”

“You’re wearing lip gloss,” her best friend stated.

The blue-eyed woman chewed her lip. “So?”

Sango’s gaze darted to the doorway, where Sesshoumaru had left to take a phone call. Her ears strained for the footsteps that weren’t coming.

“You’re going on a date with him!” she accused, hissing lowly.

“What the heck? How do you even–”

“What else are you guys doing then?”

Kagome lifted her chin. “It’s none of your beeswax.”
