A/N: Lol I know you guys are probably like, “Wtf, Sesshoumaru? Slow your roll, dude.” He isn’t trying to take over K’s apartment or be a creep. He just thinks he’s smooth, that’s all. Plus, he couldn’t help but to goad Sango. ;) Update 1 of 5.

Chapter 86: Force

“Um… Guys?” Kagome interjected, feeling slightly awkward because of the stares she was receiving. Inhaling deeply, she gathered what tentative strength she had and said her next words carefully. “Sango-chan, I’m not going to stay away from Sesshoumaru just `cause you told me to. I’m a grown woman and can make my own decisions.”

Sango looked completely stricken, while Sesshoumaru looked on smugly.

“However,” Kagome’s gaze narrowed at his smirk, “just because we’re friends now does not mean I’ll abandon my old ones. Sango-chan doesn’t know that we’ve already discussed our friendship. She’s only trying to protect me.”
