Chapter 69: Faint of Heart

Kagome swallowed.

A single, auburn eye peered at her from behind the door as Sesshoumaru allowed it to open just a crack. He felt the towel shift over his hips.

“Yes?” he inquired slowly.

A flush crept down her neck. “Erm… Are you decent?”

Sesshoumaru glanced down at his body before he smirked. “Very,” he purred, chuckling at her squeak of embarrassment.

“W-well! Here are your clothes! You’ll have to wait a bit for your pants though. They’re still drying.”

He took the proffered garments, being careful not to wrinkle the freshly-ironed shirt.

“Thank you,” he said.
