Chapter 61: Freak

Kagome glanced at the male before her, wondering what was going on in his mind. Garnering nothing from his expression, she peered down at her meal. A pair of crepes was filled with mixed berries and coated with a dusting of powdered sugar. A few dollops of whipped cream decorated the edge of the plate.

Her eyes were glassy, her stare unfocused.

Sesshoumaru was really…different.

She had half-expected their situation to be like a one-night stand, where one of the partners disappeared the morning after. But, instead, the man had prepared breakfast for her, like it was an everyday occurrence.
