Chapter 60: Figment

Okay.

This was just weird.

“Kagome-san,” a rich voice greeted. “Good morning.”

The confused female merely stared at Sesshoumaru, bracing herself against the doorway of the kitchen. She opened her mouth, but realized that she couldn’t utter a single word. Strangely embarrassed, she felt the apples of her cheeks burn as she ran a hand through the bird’s nest that was her hair.

“Erm… Good morning?”

The man smirked at her disheveled appearance before his attention returned to the crepe he was turning over.

“I took the liberty of making breakfast. I hope you do not mind.”
