Chapter 50: Femme Fatale

Auburn eyes traveled down the length of the woman’s legs as he sat beside her on the couch, drinking in the curves of her thighs before settling on her small feet. To Sesshoumaru’s dismay, a pair of unflattering pajama bottoms now hid Kagome’s shapely form from his gaze. White, fluffy dogs were scattered over the red canvas of her pants–a travesty of her previous, alluring attire. Her oversized T-shirt didn’t help much either.

Oblivious to his dilemma, Kagome grinned, her blue hues sparkling happily. “So…” she said, reaching for the TV remote. “You ready to watch Frodo-san save the world?”
