Chapter 45: Falling

She was attracted to him.

Attracted…to him.

Him!

Why did he have to be so darn good-looking? Why did she have to notice it? She was perfectly fine before, right?

Kagome inwardly groaned, dropping her forehead onto the coffee table in her living room. Rolling her eyes, she ignored Sesshoumaru’s small huff at her childish behavior.

“Are you well?”

“Of course not…” she muttered, pouting when he tilted his head in confusion. This man…! He shouldn’t be allowed to act like a puppy and look so cute while doing it!

It would’ve been easier if he was ugly.
