Chapter 43: Flustering Appreciation

Sesshoumaru smiled wryly as he took in the sight of the pajama-clad female before him. Curiosity reflected in her eyes as she bit her lip, fidgeting awkwardly in the silence that ensued. Her hair was bound in a messy bun, wisps of black tendrils framing her cheeks. One of the straps of her tank top had slipped carelessly over her shoulder, drawing his attention down her arms and to the bottom of her shorts. Through hooded eyes, he noticed that they were very short.

“A-ahem!” Kagome blushed sweetly and turned away from him.

She was modest…

He liked that.
