Chapter 42: Fascinating Details
“Sesshoumaru-san! I definitely didn’t expect to see you again!” At his affronted look, Kagome quickly amended, “Erm… So soon?”
His handsome form stood just beyond the doorway, face angled ever so slightly toward hers. He was still dressed in his business suit from their earlier date, which wasn’t really surprising, except his arm was now hanging in a protective sling.
Well, that was new.
Peering past him, Kagome soon noticed that he was, indeed, alone, before rocking back onto her heels, shooting him a questioning look.
“Not that it isn’t nice to see you, but…why are you here?”
