Chapter 34: Envy

Sesshoumaru’s eyebrows furrowed as he remained in thought. While he had considered the media’s frenzy over the ordeal, it had been shoved to the back of his mind when he’d been with Kagome.

Inuyasha ran a hand roughly through his hair, troubled by the current events. “I can’t believe she’s already got you wrapped around her finger. What’s so great about her anyway? She ain’t even that hot.”

Ignoring the weight of Sesshoumaru’s glare, he went on, “Her hair’s too curly. Her eyes aren’t normal. Her legs– Actually, her legs are–”

The car suddenly swerved when Sesshoumaru punched his arm.
