Chapter 27: Atrocious

“Oi! Don’t ya have any ramen?”

Kagome turned toward the man at her side. “How is it possible that you’re related to this guy?” she asked him in disbelief. There wasn’t a mite in her pantry, but an unexpected pest in the form of a rude, violet-eyed male.

Sesshoumaru snorted. “I am still trying to figure that out myself.”

“Hey! I’m standin’ right here, ya know!” Inuyasha said.

The woman gave him a once-over, unimpressed. “And your point is?”

He bristled at her tone, and muttered, “Keh! Now I see why he likes you.”
