Chapter 229: Grandmother’s Wisdom

“Its whereabouts are none of your concern. Tessaiga wouldn’t be of much use to someone like you,” Kaede said with a deep frown.

“And what is that supposed to mean?” Kagome bit back. “Are you telling me that women aren’t allowed to fight?”

“The fact that you are untrained is one thing. The fact that you even possess the sword is another. What could you possibly do in this situation, girl?”

Kagome sighed through her nose in frustration. “In case you haven’t noticed, your men aren’t doing so hot right now. We, at least, have the ability to purify her!”
