Chapter 224: Galaxy’s Children

“Miss me, little harlot?”

“No way, ugly.”

Kagome stared at Mistress Centipede’s grinning face with a look of detachment, wondering if maybe the cosmos was insane when it decided to create the homicidal demon. Somewhere on her train of thought, the blue-eyed woman questioned whether or not it’d been really necessary for the newly-birthed universe to decide it was a brilliant idea for its fledgling atoms to pave the way for such an abomination. Granted, Mistress Centipede probably wasn’t even around when the dinosaurs inhabited the Earth.

But still…

It was like a science experiment gone horribly wrong.
