Chapter 191: Grow Up

“Wasn’t the exit right here?” Kagome queried, trying to will away the panic that began to settle in her stomach. Hands roving over the unyielding wall of dirt, she couldn’t help but to glance worriedly at Sesshoumaru, swallowing thickly when he appeared somewhat concerned. “I’m sure it was here,” she insisted. “The rest of the walls are solid stone. The tunnel wouldn’t have collapsed, right? Right?”

“Breathe, Kagome.”

“What, and waste the only oxygen we have left?” she exclaimed hysterically.

Sesshoumaru licked his lips. “Just… Calm yourself.”

“He’s right, girl. There’s no need to lose…your head.”
