Chapter 182: Grump

“Haven’t you ever heard that phrase? You know, the one with the cat and its curious nature?” There was a pause. “And didn’t you say you hate cats?”

Sesshoumaru sniffed. “If you are implying that I am too nosy for my own good, consider our friendship terminated.”

“Hey,” Kagome grinned cheekily, “those were your words. Not mine.”

“…Hn,” he replied, rolling his eyes as he brushed past her. “I will continue my search alone.”

Taken by surprise, the woman sobered. “Blindly? How can you be so certain that you’ll even find anything?”

“I trust my instincts.”
