Chapter 180: Glower

“Are you well enough to continue?”

“Are you?” Kagome countered, gifting Sesshoumaru’s face with a skeptical look. A fierce scowl twisted her features when he nodded and rose to his feet. His resolute demeanor soon wavered as a wince cut across his expression. Catching the brief slip, the woman frowned even more deeply. “We’re getting your wound looked at,” she decided firmly. “Preferably before it gets infected… You’re not keeping anything else from me, right?”

Auburn eyes flicked to hers. “No.”

“Sesshoumaru…”

“I am certain,” he insisted, grip tightening around Tessaiga’s sheath. “We must move forward.”
