Chapter 176: Grumble

“Mrow.”

There was no way…

“Mrooow.”

Kagome had to peel her eyes away from the sword at her feet to the feline sitting beside it. She licked her dry lips and growled lowly as realization dawned in her cerulean orbs. This was the second time that her family’s pet nearly managed to scare her to death.

So overcome with her turbulent emotions at that moment, she could only utter, “Buyo… I’m going to kill you.”

She would have acted on her threat, too, if Tessaiga didn’t give a sudden pulse of power and begin rattling in its sheath.
