Chapter 168: Gravity

“You stubborn idiot,” Kagome ground out in exasperation. “I can’t drag you back to the surface!” She shined the light of her phone on Sesshoumaru’s face, a frustrated noise sounding in her throat as she noted his unconscious state. Her biggest concern was the trickle of scarlet marring his alabaster skin.

The man had collapsed, pulling her down after him as he fell. Tripping over her feet, she landed, horribly disjointed and sprawled awkwardly over his back. She honestly hadn’t thought he would have fainted like that. Or, land squarely on his face. That had definitely been a shock.
