Chapter 161: Go Figure

Sesshoumaru’s intense gaze caused Kagome to eye him back just as warily. “There were only two individuals, correct?” he surmised from her vague depiction, crossing his arms. When the confusion remained on the woman’s face, he clarified, “Masamune and Muramasa.”

She relaxed. “The swordsmiths were modeled after them. The characteristics of their blades were eerily similar to their youkai personas.”

“Hn… It’s plausible,” the male drawled. “Human imagination has its inaccuracies.”

“That’s also my theory. They had the same names, and they all existed in the Sengoku Period. Masamune was a few hundred years older than Muramasa, too.”
