Chapter 160: Generalized Truths

“`Sons’?” Sesshoumaru questioned, gingerly returning Tessaiga to the rack he had retrieved it from. Before his hand left its lacquered sheath, the skin of his palm warmed unexpectedly. Startled, the man made a mental note to ask Kagome about it later.

“I’ve told you a bit about Muramasa, but he was not Touga-sama’s firstborn. Masamune was.”

“…The swordsmith?”

“Not quite. Though he and his younger half-brother are the reasons behind the supposed `rivalry’ between the two. Somewhere along the line, the legends began to recognize them as four separate entities: the youkai and their human counterparts.”
