Chapter 159: Great Sire

“`Tessaiga’… It has such a name?” Sesshoumaru murmured softly. Kagome spied the thoughtful look on his face as he carefully inspected the rusted katana.

“According to myth, Muramasa’s great and terrible father wielded it. The sword was said to be able to slay a hundred youkai in one swing.”

“How…impressive.”

Kagome sagely nodded. “Many feared the Dog General’s might, yet others revered him for his honor and compassion. His complexities appealed to both friends and foes alike.”

“And yourself?”

The woman smiled. “While Touga-sama certainly holds my admiration, I have always been fascinated by his sons.”
