Chapter 157: Guys First

Kagome came out of her childhood home, running a hand through her hair. Swiftly locking the door behind her, she faced Sesshoumaru with a smile. “It seems like no one’s here. I don’t think Grandpa will mind if we take a look in the storehouse.”

“In that building?”

“Yep. Go straight and up the stairs. Follow the railing around the side until you see the door.” Shaking her head at his blank stare, she added, “On second thought, I’ll just lead the way. You can leave your bag here, too. Makes no sense to keep lugging it around.”
