“Does your family have a history of monks or priestesses?”

Sesshoumaru merely stared at the massive flight of stairs and the red torii arch before he turned his attention on the woman beside him. “I do not know. This is the first time the idea has been brought up.”

Kagome smiled. “That’s fine. My grandpa has a collection of records dating back to the days of the Jewel. There might be something about spiritual people and their family lines.”

“Were there not hundreds of them?” Sesshoumaru asked. “The chances of finding an ancestor of mine is very slim.”
