Chapter 151: Geezer

Kagome leaned against the wall of a building, sighing once she was encompassed within its shadow. “Well, they both seem harmless.”

Sesshoumaru eyed the phone straps from their place on her palm. “`Seem’ is the key word here. You said you sensed and saw the barrier.”

“Hm… It was like a shimmery, blue dome. And these guys…” Her eyes widened in realization. “A blue moon and thread? That old man–”

“Who might be a god.”

“Right. That kooky, geezer god imbued these with protection charms! The spells are so…” She paused, blinking. “Way out of my league.”
