Chapter 134: For You I Will
Long, long ago, there had been a woman in red and white. Though she was beautiful, none could thaw out the ice around her heart. Her name was Kikyou.
A silver-haired man had vied for the priestess’s affections, hoping to keep a piece of her for himself. With only the wind and the gentle leaves as his companions, he watched over her in his forest, secretly protecting her whenever he could.
He kept his vigil over the woman until she fell in love with an injured bandit and gifted him with her most precious treasure:
The Jewel around her neck.
