Chapter 131: Fair

“I don’t think…” Kagome’s gaze found Sesshoumaru’s stoic one. “No, definitely not.”

Totosai huffed in mock anger and shoved a gnarled hand toward her. “My craftsmanship’s not good enough for you? Fine! Hand them over!”

Kagome held the accessories out of his reach. “I didn’t say that. We’re not a couple, is all.”

“But you’ll take them?”

“I don’t see why not. If I find out you cursed them or something, I’ll find you.”

Totosai smiled crookedly at her. “You’re threatening me?”

“Yes.”

“Fair enough. Enjoy your presents, Kagome. May you have a bright future.”
