Chapter 128: Fake

An empty look filled Kagome’s eyes. “I don’t want to play this game anymore. Let’s go, Sesshoumaru,” she muttered despondently.

“W-wait a second!” Totosai’s fingers latched around her arm. “The Jewel’s only a copy! You can still have it if you want!”

Kagome turned her hardened gaze upon him. “I never wanted it, sir. And I’ve sold enough replicas to know that this,” she glared at the necklace, “is no fake. I don’t know where you got it from, and frankly, I don’t care. So, please unhand me.”

The old man sputtered. “H-how do you–”

“It has power.”
