Chapter 124: Fear

“Caught your eye, huh? Why don’t you try it on, Miss?”

Kagome jumped at the sound of the raspy voice, bumping into Sesshoumaru. He wrapped an arm around her waist to steady her and then glared at the vendor. His brows furrowed in concern when he felt her tremble against him.

It took a moment for her to gather herself. “I’d rather look at the phone charms again if you don’t mind.”

The old man scratched his beard. “Really? I thought you’d be the one to take this from me.”

Sesshoumaru eyed him suspiciously. “She does not want it.”
