Chapter 121: Forward

“Your phone has a camera.”

“Hackers make me paranoid.”

“My company takes its privacy measures seriously.”

Kagome retrieved her cellphone from her purse. She looked at the burnished surface with the sakura logo on it closely, her lips moving as she thought aloud, “If it’s as impressive as you are, I’ll believe you. Though I wouldn’t know since I just upgraded it. It’s new, but I like it so far.”

Sesshoumaru knew she was teasing him by the lifting sound of her voice. So, he played along. “Is that a confession, Kagome? How bold.”

She giggled. “Maybe.”
