Chapter 119: Force of Nature

“My entire life is a drama,” Kagome murmured. At Sesshoumaru’s look, she smiled ruefully. “Don’t worry about it.”

“If that was possible, you would not have said anything in the first place.”

“Erm…” Then she laughed in good humor. “How did I ever meet such smart people? And nice ones at that?”

Though he knew it was clearly a rhetorical question, Sesshoumaru felt somewhat bothered by her wistful tone. “Your personality.”

“`Scuse me?”

“You are…” The man made a vague gesture at her body. He had limited experience when it came to explaining himself. “Bright.”
