“I would think with how much I am scrutinized, they would recognize my face.”
“Do you want to be noticed?”
Sesshoumaru snorted at the female’s skeptical tone. “Of course not.”
“Then why are you pouting?” Kagome teased, giggling when his expression dropped. “Shall we conduct an experiment? You’ll have them swarming by the hundreds!”
He gave her a baleful stare. “No, thank you. You are enough.”
“I’d take insult to that if I didn’t know better.”
“Hn?”
“I’m your friend! That’s got to count for something, right?” she reasoned cheerily.
The man only sighed.
