Chapter 117: Finer Things

Kagome happily devoured her treat, intending on savoring her last stick of the tricolored dango. Sesshoumaru stood placidly at her side, for the man had eaten two servings himself.

“Too bad there wasn’t any tea,” Kagome murmured.

“Mine was green.”

“Eh?”

“It was only a sample. The obaasan with the tea cart gave me a cup.”

“But still… Even one of the English kinds with milk would’ve been amazing,” she sighed. “You must think I’m a bottomless pit, huh?”

“You have a taste for good things.”

“Which is good?”

Sesshoumaru smirked. “Impeccably good.”
