Chapter 114: First Priority

“Everything seems to happen in New York these days. Can you imagine an alien invasion happening here?”

“It is not impossible.” Sesshoumaru pressed a hand at the small of Kagome’s back and gently maneuvered her around the busy crowd. With her luck, she was likely to get lost or injure herself.

“That’s true,” Kagome agreed, leaning into his hold. There were more people milling about than she had thought. “It’d be pretty unfortunate though.”

“And inconvenient. You seem rather calm about the possibility.”

“Hm… I’ve just got other things to worry about at the moment.”
