Chapter 112: Flavor

Sesshoumaru glanced at his companion as she consumed her frozen treat. Her eyes sparkled brightly, lips curved upward in pleasure. The sable-haired male watched her pink tongue dart out, savoring the colorful mounds of her dessert.

His gaze returned to his own cone. Chocolate ice cream. Just one–perfect–scoop. Unlike Kagome’s Neapolitan combo, he had opted for the single flavor, not trusting himself to stick with healthy portions of it should he have gotten more.

Chocolate was his weakness. None, save Kagome, knew this fact.

And through the use of a puppy pout, she had somehow tricked him into buying it.
