The next morning the girls went to look for Hiro and after getting his acceptance of what they wanted, they checked to make sure everything was going smoothly with all the groups. While the girls were doing this Sesshomaru was making his way to his father’s study to answer his summons. Sesshomaru stopped in front of the door and knocked it was not long before he was bid to enter.

Sesshomaru pushed the door open and as he was closing it he spoke, “You wished to see me father?”

Touga smirked nodding his head, “That I did Sesshomaru I have something I wish to discuss with you.”

Sesshomaru nodded taking a seat in front of the desk and looked at his father curiously, “What is it father?”

Touga’s smirk still in place he spoke, “As you know you are the eldest and it is your birthright to become the Lord of these lands when I decide to step down.”

Sesshomaru nodded his head once more however was growing more confused by the moment about what his father wanted.

Touga’s eyes sparkled in amusement as he watched the confusion cloud his pups face once more. “I have decided when I wish to step down and hand the title of Lord over to you.”

Sesshomaru’s eyes widened in shock, “Father are you sure you are ready to step down are you sure I am ready to lead?”

Touga chuckled, “You are more than ready to lead Sesshomaru and with Kagome by your side I believe the lands will flourish even more for you than they did for me.”

Sesshomaru was in shock he did not know what to say, “When will you be making the announcement?”

Touga grinned, “It will be made a week after you have mated. I wish to give you and Kagome some time together as mates before you become Lord.”

Sesshomaru bowed his head, “Thank you father this is a great honor!”
