Inuyasha found the girls in the garden along with their bodyguards Sango and Kagura. Along with them where three of the female servants in the palace Ayumi, Yuka, and Eri he could hear that they were planning for the ceremonies.  Inuyasha approached them while watching their surroundings for anything that could harm the girls.

Kagome giggled, “Hey Inuyasha did you come to see what we were planning?”

Inuyasha gave her a forced smile, “You could say that.”

Kikyo looked at him cryptically, “What is wrong Inuyasha?”

Inuyasha sighed and took a seat next to her. “We may have a problem father and Sesshomaru are discussing how to handle it now.”

At that very moment there was a scream from inside the palace.

Kagome’s eyes widened and she was on her feet in an instant. “That sounded like Rin!”

The others quickly got up and rushed after her. What they came upon made Kagome’s blood boil and she stormed up to the female.

Once face to face with her Kagome recognized her as the female that was in Touga’s study. She composed her face as she spoke, “What exactly do you think you are doing to my daughter?”

Princess Emi sneered at her, “I will do as I please human she was in my way so I made her move.”

Kagome released an impressive growl, “Do you not feel any guilt for harming an innocent child?”

Princess Emi snarled at her, “I have nothing to feel guilty for she is nothing but human filth as are you!”

It was about this time that Sesshomaru rounded the corner and took in the scene. Rin was on the floor with Shippo hovering protectively over her growling and Kagome was standing toe to toe with Emi.
