Sesshomaru, Inuyasha, and Touga were still in the study discussing what was going on before Sesshomaru and Kagome arrived.

Touga sighed as he began, “Now Sesshomaru before I begin to explain what was going on I have to warn you that you will not like it and that I wish for you to stay calm.”

Sesshomaru nodded his agreement, “I will do so to the best of my abilities but I will make no promises.”

Touga nodded his understanding, “The two inu that where here are Lord Atsushi a minor lord in our lands as you know and his youngest daughter Princess Emi. They had come wishing to have a mating between you and Princess Emi.”

Touga was interrupted by an enraged snarl from Sesshomaru.

Touga growled loudly, “I told you to keep your calm Sesshomaru! I declined their request explaining to them that you already had a mate-to-be as well as Inuyasha having one. Needless to say they did not take the news very well and that is why they were so angry when you arrived.”

Sesshomaru quickly calmed himself after hearing his father. “It is good since that female is not worthy to be my mate nor is she worthy to be Inuyasha’s mate.”

Touga sighed nodded in agreement, “I agree and that was another reason that I declined. However, since you entered with Kagome I fear that they may try to settle the score and take her out of the equation in hopes that you would mate Princess Emi.”

Inuyasha growled and spoke before Sesshomaru could, “Sesshomaru you stay here and finish discussing everything with father. I will find the girls and stay with them to ensure that no harm comes to them.”

Sesshomaru nodded his agreement and watched as Inuyasha left.
