Touga sighed in frustration as he sat listening to the members of his court. They were complaining about his sons and how it was time they both took mates. They did not know about Kagome and Kikyo and Touga had no desire to tell them so they could interfere.

Touga growled, “My sons will take mates when they are ready and not a day sooner.”

One of his court members called out, “Milord the next generation must be produced and they are both old enough to mate.”

Touga scowled at the male that spoke, “This discussion is over I will not dictate my sons lives!”

After speaking Touga stood up and left the room aura pulsing to call for his sons. When he arrived at his study they were both waiting for him.

Sesshomaru spoke first, “You called for us father?”

Touga sighed running a hand through his hair, “The members of court are getting anxious about the two of you taking a mate. How are things progressing with Kagome Sesshomaru?”

Sesshomaru smirked, “This one believes things are progressing.”

Touga nodded his head, “Am I to assume things are going well with Kikyo Inuyasha.”

Inuyasha nodded grinning, “She is fine as long as Sesshomaru does not turn Kagome away.”

Touga sighed in relief, “I will hold the court members off for as long as I can. However the two of you cannot take forever.”

Both boys nodded as they left the study to search for the girls. Touga released a sigh of relief once more and leaned back in his chair to relax. As long as everything was working out with his sons and the girls all was right in his world. He then frowned now he had to figure out how to hold the members of court off until his sons where ready to take the girls. It was going to be a long stressful few weeks.
