Kagome greeted the morning with a huge smile on her face everything was going as planned and would turn out perfectly for her and Kikyo’s ceremonies at least that is her hope.  She prepared for the day and made her way down to have breakfast with everyone else. She was in for a huge surprise when she entered the dining hall though.

“Kagome” a female voice squealed in happiness.

Kagome’s eyes lit up as they landed on Ai, “I am so glad you are here Ai!”

Ai smiled brightly back, “Father, Kazuo, and I decided to come early so we could spend some time with all of you before the ceremonies took place. The Northern court will arrive two days before.”

Kagome giggled happily, “Well let’s have some breakfast and then we can find something to do for the rest of the day since all of the preparations have been taken care of.”

Ai nodded her agreement and they all enjoyed breakfast with light conversation all around.

After breakfast Ai grabbed Kikyo and Kagome’s hands, “I have a gift for the both of you.”

They all went to Ai’s room where Ai pulled out two boxes and handed one to each of them. They opened the gifts then looked to Ai in confusion.

Ai giggled, “It is from the main land they call them a swimsuit.”

Kagome asked curiously, “What are they used for?”

Ai smiled, “If you want to go swimming in the lake instead of doing it naked and worry that someone might see you we can wear these to hide the important body parts.”
