“Now what?” She breathed, her hand caressing his cheek. Now that they knew how they felt about each other, what would that mean?

“Now, we tell your mother.” He said, taking her hand. She gasped, her cheeks turning a bright red.

“My m-mother? Why?” She asked, letting her pull her towards his home. He returned his human guise, leaving his eyes the color she loved. She wasn’t even sure what they were, and he wanted to go tell her mom?!

“I must make my intentions clear,” he said, turning around so he was facing her. “I intend to court you. Is this acceptable?” He asked, brushing the hair from her face behind her hair. She gulped, nodding her head.

“Of course I do,” she breathed, “So, you’re going to tell my… mom?” She whispered. He chuckled, kissing her temple.

“I will not hide my feelings for you,” he said, continuing their walk. “I have no aim on keeping you a secret.”

She blushed, feeling a bit more ecstatic then she thought she would about him wanting to show her off. She always wanted a boyfriend, but now… this was something so much more.

“So, it’s like we’re dating?” She asked, unsure exactly what to call you. He chuckled, opening the door to her home.

“If that is what you wish,” he said. She smiled, holding him tightly.

“I love you,” she said, her head on his chest.

“I am aware,” he reminded, chuckling at the frown she gave him. “And I, you.” He said, nuzzling her cheek with his.

“Kagome! You’re home!” Her mother smiled, seeing the couple in the doorway. “Oh? Who is your friend?” She asked, smiling softly. Kagome took Sesshomaru’s hand in hers, turning to her mother, and smiled.

“Mom, this is Sesshomaru… my boyfriend.”
