Here Comes Sesshomaru

Kagome bit the inside of her cheek in her effort to keep a straight face.  Her mate, however, was not fooled.  He slanted his eyes at her, and she saw he was both amused at her and the herald that was annoucing their arrival.  At the Ball of the Lord's of Japan, it was all about ceremony, and pedigree.  While many did not approve of his choice of mate, none could deny what she had accomplished, nor her power.  This was not, however, what had them amused.  

The herald of the palace of the East could have given Jaken a run for his money in the departments of pompous and bluster, and he took his job as herald very, very seriously.  Kagome's introduction had yet to be reached, because her mate's had yet to end...nearly 5 minutes later.

"..the lord of the heavenly blade, the argent Inu of the West, the most dangerous, most lethal, the best..."  

She bit her lip once more, her shoulders shaking visibly now.  When you reached coloring in your introduction, that was just too much.
