-On the Road Again-

The soft presence of the sun warmed the region with a blistering haze. Who would have guessed the weather had mood swings. Kagome grumbled to herself while a slab of sweat doused her newly dried clothes.

“Jaken-sama, do you know where we’re going now?”

“Look girl, if I knew that, I wouldn’t tell you in any shape or form!” A rock hit him, sending him twirling in a mass of unconsciousness. The two-headed dragon grunted before picking up the bubbling demon within its jaw.  

“Milord, where are we going?”

For moment the imposing figure didn’t answer. “A village.” He finally replied, sending the young girl into a frenzy of giggles and smiles.

“Why are we going to a village?” Kagome asked, however, her hopes for an explanation were foiled when the male refused to answer. “Jerk.” She said under her breath, not noticing the clenching of a fist of said male.
