A/N: It seemed that some of you thought the last chapter was the final chapter, but that would have been an unfulfilling way to end such a story lol! Title seems appropriate considering the past occurances with Kagome. :) Enjoy!

-Blackout Queen-

At first, it was blurry.

Everything was flickering and her focus didn’t improve after a couple seconds. She tried moving, but it was useless; her body felt like lead and granite. Physically and mentally, she felt heavy, weighted down by an oppressive pressure, its intention suffocating her. She couldn’t comprehend what transpired, all she could remember were glimpses of the ritual and blankness, her mind shutting down at that point and caused an annoying migraine to develop. Feeling increasingly disgruntled when time and space kept shifting by, Kagome could only close her eyes, becoming light-headed when the fluctuating darkness of muddy browns contributed to said migraine. A strangling groan towards her left was all she heard before the pressure became too much, rendering her in the bliss embrace of unconsciousness.
