Prompt: Ninety-Nine Roses

-Talk is Silver-

“I then traveled to Formosa,” The wizard continued, listing off the various countries he traveled to after his fabricated death. “Unfortunately, they had this weird tradition involving roses; it made me reminisce on Hanako…I lost control of my temper, bewitched the festival and made every person there despise one another.”

Okay, he obviously has some loose screws in his head. Kagome thought, looking at the tall figure with wide eyes. It also made her wary; he was powerful, extremely so by his confession of turning a large crowd of innocent humans against one another because it showed a minor semblance between him and his previous lover. She glanced over to Sesshomaru, who had a bored expression plastered permanently on his empyreal face, apparently disinterested in the male’s extensive tale. However, it belied his earlier need for information on the wizard’s bizarre circumstances. All these males are the living proof of contradictions. The more time she spent in their presences, the more she felt like she was losing her sanity.  

“…the women were unclothed and had strange facial ornaments, I didn’t know it was remotely possible to stretch one’s bottom lip that far.”

She didn’t know what was worse, the unfathomable silence or the incessant chatter.
