-He Meant-

“What a pity, to see the proud Lord of the West distracted by a mere human.”

Sesshomaru’s lip curled in disdain, watching the immobile figure in the middle of the tentacles. He heard the woman’s screams; however he was engrossed in his own wellbeing and the lack of another arm had made her fall inevitable.

“It is a surprise to see the human girl still alive thus far; your cruelty does not precede you, Sesshomaru-sama.” The half-demon chuckled. “If I killed her now, would you feel pain?”

He scoffed, “The death of a mortal weighs naught on this Sesshomaru.” Naraku chuckled once again, before sending a multitude of tentacles towards his direction and Kagome’s.

With a slash and a parry, he defended, contradicting his comment.
